Community Outreach

The Southern Crescent Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center (SCSAC-CAC) is committed to providing comprehensive services to survivors of sexual assault in our community. One crucial aspect of this work is community outreach and training. Through these efforts, we aim to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of sexual assault and child abuse, as well as educating individuals, organizations, and communities on how to prevent and respond to these crimes.

Providing community outreach and training is essential to creating a community that is better equipped to prevent incidence of sexual assault, support survivors, and hold perpetrators accountable. By educating individuals, parents, professionals, and the community about the warning signs we can work to prevent these crimes from happening in the first place. Additionally, we can create a more trauma-informed and supportive environment for those who have been affected by these crimes.
