Site Title

Gayla Nobles serves as the Executive Director of Southern Crescent Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center.   In 1994, Gayla founded the Clayton Rape Crisis Center after recognizing the lack of services available to victims of sexual violence in the South Metro Atlanta area. Now known as Southern Crescent Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center, Gayla has been instrumental in the expansion of programs and services offered by the organization.  Over the past 20+ years, SCSAC-CAC has grown to cover 9 South Metro Atlanta counties through three office locations. Gayla has previously worked as Chief Financial Officer for The Nobles Realty Group, Victim Assistance Coordinator for the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office, and Senior Caseworker with Spalding County Department of Family and Children Services.  In addition to holding a large number of certifications in the areas of advocacy, counseling, and management, Gayla earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and her Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University. Gayla has extensive experience counseling adult and child survivors of sexual assault, as well as working as an advocate in the community for victim’s rights.
